Clear Choice Clinic was established as a community resource in 2007, offering pregnancy testing, limited ultrasound, and options education for women. In 2012, STD testing and treatment was added to the scope of services, expanding care to include both women and men. Since 2007, Clear Choice Clinic has provided care to over 4,100 men and women, with positive exit reviews from over 99% of patients surveyed. The comment most frequently expressed by patients is, “I felt very cared for, and I never felt judged.”

The staff is committed to providing evidence-based education and empowering knowledge to women and men facing this difficult situation. Clear Choice also provides free and low cost STD testing and treatment to both men and women. You will never be charged for your visit. Our goal is to provide sexual health care services to men and woman of the Flathead Valley in a safe, unbiased environment. Clear Choice Clinic does not perform or refer for abortions.
John Lavin, MD – Medical Director
Dr. Lavin attended the University of Nevada Medical School, and did his residency in Family Practice, as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology, at the University of Colorado. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a partner at Kalispell OB/GYN.
Michelle has been with Clear Choice Clinic since its inception. She was trained in nursing at Montana State University, and her nursing experience includes inpatient pediatrics, obstetrics and surgery.
Kristen began leading the nursing team at CCC in June 2015. She received her Bachelor’s degree in nursing at Viterbo University, and has practiced nursing in Mali, West Africa and Wisconsin, before moving to Montana and working at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
Kara has been part of the Care Team at Clear Choice since 2009. She was trained at Argosy University in Minnesota, and has worked for both Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane and Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell.
Tiffany Rietema – Staff Nurse
After receiving her nursing education at University of Montana, she went on to practice medical/surgical nursing, and pediatric home health care. She also spent time as a volunteer nurse with Mercy Ships. Tiffany joined the nursing team at Clear Choice Clinic in 2016.
